Hi creative friends!!! Here is a layout made for Paige Evans DT featuring her cut file « Clock » and her Bloom Street collection.
To start I cut the cut file with my Silhouette Cameo in watercolor paper and then I used several inks to have a clock with several shades of blue (Lindy’s Magical Midnight RDV, Lindy’s Sassy Sapphire and Distress Stain Chipped Sapphire). I then embossed a few places with Lindy’s Slam Dunk Silver powder.
For the background of my page, I used a white cardstock that I coated with clear Gesso. Once everything was dry, I added a writing pattern with a Finnabair stencil and Modeling Paste as well as a brick pattern with an Florilège Design stamp here and there that I then embossed with the same powder as the clock. I then glued the clock to the center of my page with 3D foam. I pasted the photo after topped it with crumpled tracing paper in the clock on the left. All that remains is to decorate everything!
I cut out a lot of flowers and leaves in papers #13, #2 and in the 6×8 Paper Pad. Then I stuck all these flowers and leaves on the clock, near the photo and on the opposite. I used 3D foam to get a lot of volume. I then added some butterflies and sentences cut out of paper #13 that I inserted into the flowers.
I added ink around the clock with Shimmerz Magenta, Vibez Sweet Heart and Vibez Mustard Seed inks to bring color, detail and depth. Then I dabbed a writing pattern with black ink here and there then added Blue Essential Jewels from PinkFresh Studio here and there and ended up with splashes of white paint to bring light and to harmonize everything!
I hope this layout inspires you today! I loved making it and creating these little flower gardens that I love! I wanted something very flowery, something that looks like me and I am happy with the result!
