Hello creatives !!! Today, here is a layout made with the cut file « Love Arrow » by Paige Evans and a mix of all her collections (Horizon, Truly Grateful, Bloom Street, Go The Scenic Route). To start, I applied transparent Gesso to Horizon Element # 20. I cut the file 4 times from blue (# 05 Truly Grateful), purple (# 03 Bloom Street), green (# 20 Truly Grateful) and yellow (# 08 Go The Scenic Route) paper and 4 times from card stock white to double the colored arrows and give them more dimension.

I then created a background by creating bands of color, tone on tone with the arrows, using the Shimmerz Vibez Don’t Rain inks on my Parade with Distress Stain Chipped Sapphire for blue, Shimmerz Vibez Mustard Seed for yellow, Shimmerz Spritz 4 Leaf Cover and Distress Oxide Evergreen Bough for green and Lindy’s Magical Powder Lara’s Wild Malve for purple. Then, I made several lines of stitching, always tone on tone, on each ink strip.

I glued the arrows with 3D foam for more volume and to create shadows. I love this effect! Then I inserted the photos printed in mirror and matted with crumpled tracing paper for more texture.

And finally, the decoration. I kept the color combo and I added Puffy words (on the other hand there was no word in purple, I had to apply white Gesso on the word I had chosen then my purple shade ) Flowers, Stickers, and some Die Cuts and Dots from Pink Fresh.

I loved doing this page !!! My favorite thing I think is sewing! I love the texture it adds! A page that is perfect when there is a little guy in the photos!

Hope this page gives you some ideas to try on your next project! Thank you for stopping by & have a beautiful creative day !!!
