Hi papercrafters !!! Today is my interpretation of the Hip Kit Club Weekly Challenge. For this layout I used their November kit. I wanted to try this kind of background for a long time and it was the opportunity! Nothing could be simpler, black paint and a big brush! I decided to do 3 big centered bands.

And the background is already ready, simple, fast and efficient! I decided to use 3 cabin size photos, which I really like. The kind of photo I capture when I ask my son for a few portraits and he can’t help but clown !!! After matting my photos with crumpled tracing paper and blue paper, I inserted on both sides, a polaroid cardstock frame cut in 2 and an oval frame cut in 2 as well.

It only remains to add a title. I chose « Stay Happy, Cozy & Crazy ». For the words « Happy » and Crazy « , I used the red sticker alphabet, which I stuck on the paper that is in the sticker pockets or cardstock. I cut around the letters to have the same style as the words “Stay” and “Cozy.” I added puffy stickers, cardstock snowflakes stickers and red and gray sequins. I ended up doing black paint stains!

A very different page from what I usually do but which I like a lot! I love the contrast of the black background and the colors. I think I would do another page with this kind of background!

Thank you for stopping by & have a beautiful creative day !!!
