Snap A Photo

Hi everyone !!! Here is a layout made with the Go To The Scenic Route collection by Paige Evans and her Snowflake Background cut file. I started by working the background of my page. I first glued this beautiful torn 6X6 blue paper on the left side of my page. Then I lightened the blue paper with Gesso. I cut the file 2 times to be able to have a stencil. So I applied Modeling Paste to different places on my page with the homemade « stencil »! I then went on to color with several Distress Oxide blue (Chipped Sapphire, Salty Ocean) and also Nuvo Crustal Drops Mindnight Blue.

I continued by cutting out several blue and pink flowers to match the photo. I overlaid my photo with crumpled tracing paper for more texture and blue and pink papers to stay in that color combo.
I then moved on to assembly. I glued my photo in the center on 3D foam yes I added my cut file at the top left then at the bottom right of my photo and above, the flowers playing on the height.

And finally, I inserted some stickers. I wanted the photo to blend into the background and I like the result which is certainly very blue but which looks so much like this photo I think. My son loves this Snapchat filter so I absolutely had to immortalize this photo!

And there you go !!! I hope this layout could inspire you. Thank you for stopping by & have a creative day !!!
