Spread Your Wings & Fly

Hi creative friends !!! Here is a layout made with the sublime Bloom Street collection by Paige Evans! I waited more than 3 months for this collection and it is finally in my hands! To start, I printed my photo in A4 format with border and I cut it into a diamond then glued on paper n ° 10 with 3D foam. Then I printed the photo a second time and cut out the silhouette of my daughter. I used Paige Evans’ Wings cutting file which I cut into 2 different sizes to layer them after dressing them with paper # 6 then I sewed them on the silhouette which I then glued on the large photo with 3D foam for more relief.

Then I wanted to recreate the green ground on the photo at the foot of the silhouette so I superimposed die cuts, fussy cuts and foliage dies. Then I added the foam title that I made with a Tim Holtz die and foam and I accentuated this title with the letter stickers from the collection. I continued with the cutout of butterflies that I arranged around the photo. I traced loops in pencil to create butterfly movement and sewed them with different colors of DMC threads.

And to finish, I added birds, heart stickers, white spots and black drops.
I loved making this page, I had this sketch in my head for a long time and I was just waiting for the right papers and with this collection and its pastel colors, it was obvious! This is one of my favorite pages now.

And There you go !!! Hope to have inspired you, thank you for stopping by & have a nice day !!!
